New Beginnings

We as a family ended 2010 with a few things pending and quite a few unknowns. Both Eric and I have been saying that 2011 just feels different and is going to be a good year. So far, Eric has started moving into his new shop, we opened escrow on a house and we gave Ford a haircut :)
Eric's current building is in an ugly area of San Bernardino but his new shop is in the land of all lands, Redlands. It's a brand new building that no one has rented before and it's in a really nice area. We are extremely excited.

In regards to opening escrow on a house; we put in an offer on this house back in AUGUST. I'm so sure, right!? It's a short sale and it literally took the bank 5 months to accept our offer, which is what they were asking for. It wasn't like we were undercutting them, it was for the full price. Since August, the prices on homes have dropped considerably so its being reappraised. Either way, we will be very happy to move. I will keep you posted on the progress.

Going back a bit to 2010, my parents came down from Humboldt for Christmas. I love that they are able to spend Christmas with us, especially Ford. He walks around the house saying "Pop'" which is my Dad. Ford is overflowing with toys, which I said I'd never do. He will sit with you for hours if you read to him. He is just the cutest thing ever.

For New Years Eve, Eric and I were able to go out to our friends house, Angi and Ryan. We had a ton of fun and were very thankful for a night out together. I was so stinking tired by the end of the night. It had been a long time since I was out that late.

So far this year has started off really well so I'm going to press into the goodness and carry forward with positive thoughts and energy.
