exciting but busy

This week was such a great week but there were soooo many pivotal events that took place. So let me begin on Wednesday. On Wednesday, one of my favorite bands were playing, Dax Riggs, formerly Deadboy and the Elephantmen. They played at the Casbah in San Diego. Eric, myself, Burak and Jeffery rushed down there at 5 o'clock because we were told doors opened at 8 and he went on shortly after that. Not so much, he didn't play until 1130. We didn't get home until 3 am! That is by far the latest I have stayed out in a very long time. I was hoping that he'd be playing songs off this older albums but he didn't, kinda bummed cause I don't love his last album.

On Thursday my lovely friends, Angi and Ryan, were having their rehearsal dinner down in Escondido. Eric and I went to Escondido to partake in the rehearsal and then dinner at BJ's Brewery. Totally a fun night. ERic and I sat across from Kevy, Carynn and Stafford. I think I ate more salad that night than ever. It was so good and I was starving.

On Friday my baby Ford turned one! Oh my gosh I just adore him. He has the best personality. He's always happy, always smiling and is so excited to be out and hanging out with people. I didn't get to see him a bunch on this day because Angi and Ryan were getting married and because my parents have been watching Ford the last couple days, we didn't stay in Escondido on Wednesday. We planned to have Ford's party on Saturday so sharing his birthday with Angi and Ryan's wedding was fun. So on Thursday we went back to Escondido and had to be there at 130 for pictures and hangout. This day was awesome. Angi was so beautiful and the wedding went so smoothly. oh, I almost forgot, she had her Baker fill their wedding cake with either blue or pink frosting because she is pregnant and they wanted it to be a surprise. They are having a BOY! It was an great moment and I am truly blessed that I got to be a part of everything.

On Saturday we celebrated Ford's first birthday. We had his party at Prospect Park in Redlands. My parents have been here for the week so they were a huge help. We had cupcakes, snacks and it was just one big hangout. Ford loved it but was so tired by the end of the day.
He really is my whole heart and I thank God all the time for being given the priviledge of being his Mom.
