December

I have found myself a bit busier in the last month, well busier than I anticipated. My parents and nathan came down for a week during Thanksgiving and then I flew up to my parents house in the Cove. What seemed like a blink of an eye, was actually two weeks. Northern California during this season is absolutely breathtaking. The rivers are pretty full, the Redwoods are so green and the smell of rain was a constant aroma. After a couple days in the Cove, I made my way over to the Monastery of the Redwoods. The Monastery is nestled back in the Redwoods and if you didn't know it was there, you might just pass it up. They make and sell organic raw honey. I picked up a couple jars and then want back to the Cove because my Mom was watching Ford. I was able to do some shopping in Garberville at the Hemp Connection and Chitaqua and then again in Eureka and Arcata. One of my favorite stores in Arcata called Natural Solutions, had the cutest dresses right now and they carry one of my favorite brands Livity. Most of the time I stayed in the Cove at their house since it was a cool 45 degrees most of the time and a tad too cold to be taking Ford out for unnecessary errands. While I was gone, Eric was on tour with Sleeping Giant and then we both came home on December 20th. Needless to say, I have found myself running and scrambling to do last minute shopping and get a Christmas tree. It's Fords first Christmas!!!!

I'm glad you had such a great time with your family. :) Is that their house, you have a picture of? One of these years - I am going with you. I'm dead serious.
Thanks for the blog - do it more often please.
    Love you.
