So I forgot to do a 5 month picture/information update so I thought I'd combine them both in one. About 3 weeks ago, I was at my mom and dads house in Northern california and the weather was amazing, only to come home to smog and hot! It's been so freaking hot here lately I thought I was going to have a heart attack. As of the last week, I've given up on getting into my size ones and opted for something a little less tight and more breathable. Even though I say that very calmly, it was not so calm and easy to get to that point. I had a cry fest in the car with my mom cause I made the mistake of weighing myself on my brothers scale. Not a good idea when you're surrounded with people that are tall and rail thin. I had gained two pounds since my last Dr.'s appointment and I was devastated. I know that gaining weight is all part of this whole experience but saying that and then it actually happening is two totally different mindsets. Either way, I've gained 10 pounds thus far and I'm so ready to not be pregnant and to get to see Ford! By the way we named him Ford James Gregson.
P.s. this picture is in a bathing suit because it's so hot outside.
So far so good! Look at this way love, it has taken you 24 weeks to gain 10...in the next 16 weeks, another 8-10...you're good to go! Oh how I love you and am grateful we are way too alike!
ReplyDeleteWow you are tiny still! You just have to put the weight out of your mind and know that it's GOOD for him. I gained 26 lbs. with Finn, and by the time he was 3 mos., I had lost 31 just from breastfeeding! You are going to bounce back with a quickness, you little hardbody!

I also can't wait to see you all pregnant :) And I know you'll hate hearing this, but you look great - even though you don't think so, that belly is supposed to be growing. I'm surprised your "hidden" boobs haven't come out to greet us. ;) See you soon love.
